I did some cleanup on this article tonight. A previous revision included Senator Bowen's date of birth, but I did not include that information in my update for two reasons:

• I was unable to independently verify the date
• Senator Bowen has been a leader in identity protection legislation, including confidentiality of birthdates

There is needless negativity in the last para about her.
