Deborah Platt Majoras

Deborah Platt Majoras is the former chairman of the Federal Trade Commission. She was sworn in as Chairman of the Federal Trade Commission on August 16, 2004. She was replaced by William Kovacic.
While she did not have formal powers to block investigations into Intel over antitrust issues, she is credited with stopping such, until June of 2008.[1]
