Professor Deborah Charlesworth FRS is a British evolutionary biologist[1].
She is best known for her work on the evolution of genetic self incompatibility in plants, and is recognised as the leader of that field. She was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 2005.
She is married to the British evolutionary biologist Brian Charlesworth.
