[edit] Runescape Monsters - Revenants

Just about every RuneScape player has heard it, Jagex has rid the wilderness of PvP except for the Bounty Hunter minigame. Everything is safe and dandy you say? Well, not quite. A new threat, The Revenant, has emerged from the darkest corners of Geilinor to avenge their deaths from the terrible God Wars on any innocent player that passes by their death-spot in the wilderness. Along with this new threat is a new game, "Revenant Hunting", that fearless, and sometimes stupid, adventurers like to play. Beware, however! If you go Revenant hunting you must be prepared to die at any time, so don't take items that you aren't willing to lose. They are lesser known, but recent research has shown that they aren't like any other undead creature on runescape. So far we have gained the following facts:

- They don't wait around for someone to walk by, instead, they hunt for people.
- They often like to swarm in groups called "Solums" (named by myself).
- They move considerably faster than ghosts.
- They are stronger than normal ghosts.
- A salve amulet and/or crumble un-dead spell could ensure your survival – BRING THEM!
- They are extremely aggressive.
- They are able to teleblock you with magiks and freeze you with powerful ranger bolts.
- They CAN be poisoned.
- They are most likely to chase you until they can’t attack you, but sometimes they don’t.
- Revenants can poison you, so anti-poisons are a must!
- Revenants tend to wander around the same place as their type.
- They can use all three areas of the combat triangle, mostly favouring magic as their
primary skill, as their teleblock can hit up to 20 dependant on their level.

Drops

Revenants can drop anything from dragon daggers to level 1, 2 or 3 clue scrolls, dependant on their level, and can even drop the infamed left half, but their most common drop is between 0 and approximately 250 coins. They will not drop bones of any kind.
