Dean Rader

Dean Rader is an American writer, blogger, and professor who teaches at the University of San Francisco, where he served as Dean for the Humanities. He is primarily known for his scholarly work on Native American poetry. Recently his new blog, The Weekly Rader,got some attention in the blogosphere when one of his posts, grading President Bush's State of the Union Speech, "graded" President George W. Bush's speech like it was a student paper. In April of 2008, Rader's blog got even more attention as he was one of the first to write about [1] the web sensation Stuff White People Like.

Rader is also a well-published poet who is writing a book of poems called Works and Days.
