Dean Chapman was appointed Canons' Verger & Sacristan of Ripon Cathedral in September 2003 having previously been Third Verger (Part Time) at Carlisle Cathedral From March 2002.
Dean is currently Secretary to the York Branch of the Church of England Guild of Vergers and is a member of the Vergers Guild of the Episcopal Church (America).
