[edit] First MR car?

I'm removing this whole paragraph. Mid engined cars had been built since at least 1923 with the Tropfenwagen. And Lotus had been racing mid engined cars since the Lotus 18 in 1960. The Porsche 904 predates the Vallelunga.Scottanon 05:33, 27 October 2007 (UTC)

The Vallelunga is not the first mid-engined rear-wheel-drive car as is the common misconception, but it is indeed the first series production car to use the mid-engined layout after WWII, which is something that cannot be ignored. Hope to draw some attention of other People. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Sayantan.z28 (talk • contribs) 18:52, 14 February 2008 (UTC)
