[edit] Merge
I'd be happy to hear the reasoning of who put the merge tag up. It would seem reasonable, considering there is little known about Filippo Vadi, and all that is known comes from his book. However, if you look at a comparable situation such as Fiore dei Liberi and his book Flos Duellatorum, there is a short article on the man and a much longer article on the manuscript. The way it is right now, there probably isn't much room for expansion on Vadi himself, but plenty left to do on his book. So as of now, I would be against a merger, simply to allow for a seperation that would leave plenty of room to expand on the manuscript. Joshdboz 11:06, 1 April 2006 (UTC)
I must agree with Joshdboz, i believe it would be wise to merge these two articles, that really belonged together in the first place.--Agamemnon Ebenezer Halel 00:53, 3 August 2006 (UTC)
In the absence of further comment, I will complete the proposed merge. Jlittlet 17:20, 16 September 2006 (UTC)
- To review:
-
-
- Joshbodz was against the merger.
- Agamemnon Ebenezer Halel appears to have misread his comments and supported the merge.

- I'm not sure, but I think the merge may have been made in error, assuming the text recorded here is the full discussion. I agree with Joshbodz that an article on Vadi could certainly stand on its own, as could an article on his chief work(s). Xiliquiern 20:08, 16 September 2006 (UTC)
