Deutscher Commercial Internet Exchange (German commercial internet exchange) (DE-CIX) is an Internet Exchange Point situated in Frankfurt (Germany).
Founded in 1995, it has become the second largest exchange point in Europe with a maximum throughput of 407 Gbit/s as of February 2008.
DE-CIX operates four Force10 TeraScale E1200 switches and serves various locations in Frankfurt.
