[edit] Boston-based Rock Bands
In 1998, Bryan intercepted a phone call meant for his college dorm roommate, regarding a Boston thrash-metal band in need of a drummer. Tank 26 toured New England, recorded a live CD, recorded two singles at the Berklee studios (Overlook and Glass Eyes), and recorded one single at Sound Techniques (Friendly). Tank 29 dissolved within this same year.
In 1999, Bryan joined Coven 13, a theatrical rock band which later changed its name to Seven 13. Seven 13 headlined such festivals as Gothcon, Witchfest; opened for King's X and VNV Nation; and performed throughout New England at such clubs as Mama Kin and Roxy.
In 2000, Bryan co-founded Debris. The original phone call came from Mike Dudas and Rob Whelan who had booked a gig at the Middle East prior to having a band, songs, or even a guitar amp. Bryan agreed to join only if Justin Ballard was brought on board for rhythm guitar. Debris has performed extensively throughout New England, recorded a Studio EP, two self-released live CDs, and is currently working on a full length album, which will be titled "Operation Bostar."
In 2004, Bryan was recommended to Hypercane, a South Shore cover band, by Mike Mangini. He spent one year playing every weekend throughout MA before original drummer, Dana Spellman, returned to the band.
Also within 2004, Bryan spent a short time playing with local rock band Torque as they needed a drummer for the Emergenza Festival. Torque played all rounds but didn't place at the final.
As of 2007, Bryan continues to sub for local cover bands, record for local artists and producers, performs live with Debris, and is finishing up the full length Debris album.
