[edit] Cricketers Club

Hello Dazwest. This was deleted under "speedy delete" criteria G11, which covers spam. Under the criteria, "[p]ages that exist only to promote a company, person, product, service or group, have no other purpose and cannot be reasonably edited into an encyclopedic contribution" may be speedy deleted at any time. Hi Erica. There are many pages under the 'Private_clubs' category which are similar in nature to the Cricketers Club. Could you kindly explain why they are kept and not my page? I'd like to understand. The Cricketers Club is a well known institution in London. Perhaps I need to expand more about the club as the other clubs in that category have done? Thanks. Basically you need to write the article in an encyclopedic manner, so that it doesn't sound like spam. Also, the club should be notable according to Wikipedia's notability standards. I don't know much about these clubs so I can't really determine that. --Fang Aili talk 14:35, 5 October 2006 (UTC)
