[edit] Cricketers Club
Hello Dazwest. This was deleted under "speedy delete" criteria G11, which covers spam. Under the criteria, "[p]ages that exist only to promote a company, person, product, service or group, have no other purpose and cannot be reasonably edited into an encyclopedic contribution" may be speedy deleted at any time. Cheers, Fang Aili talk 13:41, 4 October 2006 (UTC)
Hi Erica. There are many pages under the 'Private_clubs' category which are similar in nature to the Cricketers Club. Could you kindly explain why they are kept and not my page? I'd like to understand. The Cricketers Club is a well known institution in London. Perhaps I need to expand more about the club as the other clubs in that category have done? Thanks. - Basically you need to write the article in an encyclopedic manner, so that it doesn't sound like spam. Also, the club should be notable according to Wikipedia's notability standards. I don't know much about these clubs so I can't really determine that. --Fang Aili talk 14:35, 5 October 2006 (UTC)
