I am a resident of the small, peaceful town of Bunker Hill, Illinois, where I work as a newspaper reporter and columnist for the Bunker Hill Gazette. Aside from my duties at the newspaper, I am a member of the Bunker Hill Area Kiwanis Club, Bunker Hill Area Lions Club, Bunker Hill Friends of the Library, and a Director of the Bunker Hill Historical Society & Museum. I am a degreed historian, and write many historical articles on a broad range of topics. Some can be found in Wikibooks.

My main areas of contribution in Wikipedia will be in Illinois related articles, especially Southern Illinois since I am a lifelong resident. I will contribute articles on Bunker Hill and the surrounding area, Macoupin County, and anything else that catches my fancy.
