Talk:Daydream (song)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The article is unclear about who made/sang/recorded the original song. Can this get resolved? Ben Dando 00:59, 28 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Lovin' Spoonful
Removed the claim it was written by the Lovin' Spoonful. Granted, they had a hit with a song called "Daydream", but it's not this song. Compare their lyrics (http://lyrics.rare-lyrics.com/L/Lovin'-Spoonful/Daydream.html) to the one of this song (http://lyricsplayground.com/alpha/songs/d/daydreamgunterkallmanchoirthewallacecollection.shtml) 81.71.36.212 17:17, 4 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] First Section
The first section of this page is unprofessional at best. "European Hippy" isn't a type of music, as far as I know.
Need citation on the song being "fairly obscure". "So many times" doesn't belong, either.
Am I a little overzealous in requesting a rewrite of the entire first section? Rootyb 17:48, 6 July 2007 (UTC)
The Wallace Collection's own website http://www.wallacecollection.net//?page_id=21 states that the song was number one in over twenty countries. The Wikipedia category "Belgian Pop Groups" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Belgian_pop_groups also states that it reached number 41 in the UK charts in 1969, so I have my doubts as to whether it was really all that obscure.
A rewrite would seem in order to me. Carnivalist 02:50, 19 August 2007 (UTC)
- I have re-written the section accordingly. A1octopus (talk) 16:54, 5 December 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Kallman
This article refers a lot to the name Gunter Kallman Choir, yet I've seen it referred in other places as the Gunther Kallmann choir. So which is the correct spelling?
[edit] Remix "rêverie" by LordFunk
Note that a french dj call LordFunk made a remix — in 2002, I think; of the Cover of Claude François tilte "rêverie". thit track is a famouse rare track from the Kourtrajmé crew. [1] —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.66.174.48 (talk) 07:09, 30 January 2008 (UTC)
