Daytonnati is a term occasionally used to refer to the extended metropolitan area that includes both Cincinnati and Dayton in Ohio. While the US Census Bureau considers each city to be an independent entity, there is essentially no separation between the areas along Interstate 75. Some expect the census bureau to combine the statistical areas within the next few decades, creating what would be the 14th largest metropolitan area in the United States[1][2]. On satellite photos taken at night, the cities already appear to be linked together.[3]
