Dax O'Callaghan (born 2 July 1986 in London, England) is an English singer, dancer and actor.

Dax, like many other television actors in Britain, trained at the Sylvia Young Theatre School. His career began while he was still at school, when he appeared in various television commercials and was featured on the educational television show "Science in Action". At the age of 10 he played the role of Gavroche in London's West End musical, Les Miserables at the Palace Theatre. He was later cast as The Artful Dodger in Oliver! at the London Palladium.

At 18 he became the youngest ever person to teach a full-time dance class at the Pineapple Dance Studios in London's Covent Garden.

In England he is best known for presenting the LOL:Laugh Out Loud show, his small role as Jack Price in the BBC soap opera EastEnders and his subsequent appearance in the medical drama Casualty. However he is more widely known in France as a singer and his single 'Calling Love' was hugely successful there. Following this, O'Callaghan was signed by Universal International Records in Hamburg to become a member of a new boyband named Lexington Bridge. Their album "The Vibe" was released in Germany on November the 23rd 2007.[1]
