Dawn Halfaker

Dawn Halfaker was an American basketball player, and soldier. In Iraq, on June 19, 2004, a rocket-propelled grenade was shot into the armoured Humvee carrying Dawn. Dawn was badly injured by the explosion, losing her right arm.

After returning from In 2006, she launched Halfaker and Associates, which provides national security services and consulting in the areas of homeland defense, force protection, antiterrorism, emergency and consequence management, physical and border security, environmental security, training and operational support, recruiting and retention operations.
