[edit] Background
Radio Fiza was the sixth of the original pilot Access Radio stations in the United Kingdom which paved to way for the full launch of community radio stations in 2005. The Karimia Institute provided programming on Thursday, Friday and Saturdays between 0800-2300 hours and on Sunday between 0900-1200. The remaining programmings were provided by the Asian Women's Project who now broadcast as Faza FM. On 28 March 2006 The Karimia Institute moved their programming to 107.6FM and commenced broadcasts as 107.6 Dawn FM. This is due to the fact Karimia Institute lost the bid to keep Radio Faza.
