David Chatel was born in Jersey, in the Channel Islands (UK) on 23rd September 1953, and still resides in the Island. He has been an Electrician for over 40 years and is also involved in Charity work and is Secretary of the Royal Antediluvian Order of Buffaloes, Knights Chapter, and is the current RAOB Club, Secretary. He is also very interested in tracing the Chatel family history,together with associated branches of his family, which originated in the Granville area of France about 1800
