David James Tibergien was born in Holland, Michigan and made his first home in Hamilton, Michigan. He graduated from North Muskegon High School in 1999. He attended Muskegon Community College before graduating from Central Michigan University. He was a candidate for State Senate in Michigan. He is a member of the Democratic party.
