The following is a list of notable footballers who have played for Stoke City. Generally, this means players that have made 100 or more appearances (including appearances as a substitute) in first-class matches for the club. However, some players who have played fewer matches are included; this includes "Player of the Season" winners and those that set records at the club. Also included are players that have achieved a high level of fame in the game in general, but not necessarily made 100 or more appearances for Stoke City.
