Does anyone know the origin of the name of the plant? Who or what was "Davis" and "Besse" before that name was applied to the plant? 02:39, 13 May 2006 66.69.163.37

"The indictment names other employees as providing false information to inspectors as well, but does not name them."? I don't know the details, so I'm hesitant to change this, but I imagine this meant to say that the indictment asserted that other employees provided false information, without specifically naming which other employees did so. -Chinju 21:45, 21 January 2006 (UTC)

The plant was originally jointly owned by Cleveland Electric Illuminating (CEI) and Toledo Edison (TE). As of 2006, it is operated by the FirstEnergy Nuclear Operating Company subsidiary of FirstEnergy Corp. The plant was named for former TE Chairman John K. Davis and former CEI Chairman Ralph M. Besse.
