Talk:David Persuitte

[edit] Article Focus
Why not write an article about the book, not the author? It's the book that's controversial, not, for example, details of the author's personal life? 24.6.67.7 (talk) 09:26, 23 February 2008 (UTC)
- I am beginning to concur. I am finding precious little about the author, but he does have much to say about the L. Ara Norwood review at Amazon.com[1] This primary source is made troublesome by its presence at the commercial site. I shall have to reread WP:EL for its legitimacy within an article. A brief response about an article at TIME Magazine may also be of note, at least for further research, not for inclusion in namespace.[www.time.com/time/magazine/article/0,9171,833392,00.html] ClaudeReigns (talk) 12:34, 23 February 2008 (UTC)
- I also agree - I have been searching for more info on Persuitte, but not a lot is out there. I will make the change tomorrow. By the way - on the Talk:Criticism of Mormonism page, you call Persuitte an archaeologist. I couldn't source that description, are you sure it is true? --Descartes1979 (talk) 07:02, 24 February 2008 (UTC)
