A single edit to this article added a death date of 1986. I can't find any evidence via Google that he has died. Removed. Cite, please? -- The Anome 13:45, 17 December 2005 (UTC)
I'm fairly sure I recall his obituaries some 20 years ago. There is an undated tribute article at [1] and a 2001 article which gives 1986 as date of death at [2]. Probably better to reinstate the 1986 death, not least now that there is also the Living People category to make its omission mor misleading? AllyD 13:48, 12 March 2006 (UTC)
