The notability of mayors is contentious (see for instance, Wikipedia talk:Notability (people)#Local politicians). If you really think this should be deleted, please take it to WP:AFD. I think he is probably notable--the article could certainly be expanded some with reliable sources. LeSnail (talk) 20:41, 3 February 2008 (UTC)
