[edit] Removing uncited/libelous/poorly written statement

"People who know Mejias are well aware that he is a selfish opportunist and phony who cares about one person only, Dave Mejias. He will stop at nothing to advance his own career. Just ask his ex wife Heidi, who left him after three short years of marriage. Luckily he was not able to dupe enough savy Long Islanders into voting for him based upon his empty, unsophisticated and typical platform centering on anti-Bush pontification and rhetoric offering no substance and no proposed solutions. Mejias simply smelled blood in the water and tried to take advantage. Fortunatly for all of us he was not successful."

As a Long Islander and someone who does not like political bias, I am removing this statement.

I have reverted the edits of User:Bmahoneyx. The edits removed footnotes and there was several violations of WP:MOS. For those who can see deleted pages, Image:Dave Headshot Official Wikipedia.jpg is evidence of a COI. Rettetast 18:42, 6 September 2007 (UTC)
