I've removed the (external?) link to Wikipedia's OCD article. I don't think it was really needed. Dave Gorman does not suffer from OCD.

The article (In reference to the Important Astrology Experiment) says:"To reveal its conclusion would perhaps spoil the ending for anyone who hasn't seen it...". Well possibly but Wikipedia contains spoilers. Saul Taylor 14:22, 19 Jul 2004 (UTC)

I wonder if anyone would like to add a section on whether Gorman's adventures were genuinely taken for the sake of a bet/fun/curiosity, or whether they were initiated with book deals/comedy tours in mind? Personally I'm interested in whether these 'capers' were taken for their own sake - (which would add to the comedy and silliness of it all), if there was an ulterior motive...

"He was the first Daily Show correspondent to have been born in England... the Daily Show's other English correspondent, John Oliver" - this probably needs clarification or correction

[edit] Are you Dave Gorman?

There is another article fot the show Are you Dave Gorman? which is pretty redundant with the section on the show in this article. Any suggestions? Merge? I will add a Main Article template for now.--Larrybob 20:01, 3 May 2006 (UTC)

I was probably one of the few people to see both the Edinburgh version of the Googlewhack Adventure and a version at UCLA in Los Angeles; various parts of the story had been changed.

Similarly, the origin of his tattoo apparently varies - the version cited in this article is inconsistent with the version in the Googlewhack adventure (UCLA version) which claimed he got it during the adventure, in Austin, Texas. 130.154.0.150 00:58, 22 March 2007 (UTC) Jack

In the DVD of Googlewhack Adventure you can see the tattoo quite clearly, and it is of a Texas drivers license. The story took place in Austin. It doesn't matter because it's not in the article anymore (and shouldn't be), but the reference was wrong when it was in. \ Fnarf999 \ talk \ contribs \ 18:28, 19 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Is this the only notable Dave Gorman?

Given the nature of the whole "Are you Dave Gorman?" thing, I'm amazed there isn't a Dave Gorman disambig page ;-) 217.155.20.163 13:10, 24 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Vandalism I can't remove

"RARRR I AM VICTOR THE KONQUERER" is at the bottom of the page (just below the "External Links" section) - I can't see it when I go to edit that section. If there's a solution on how to do it, can someone drop me a line? Lou 05:52, 27 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Not really Dave Gorman

"...unlike in most other stage presentations, they are true stories.” What? How do you know what he is saying is true?!? His spoof comes across as believable, that doesn’t mean to say any of it is actually true. Ever heard of acting?

In “Are you Dave Gorman?”, he tries to prove he is the centre of the Dave Gorman universe with the help of a map. All the distances and directions marked on the map are all obviously wrong. For example, America is to the South of the UK and not to the north. He is just playing spoof character, come on! Don’t take his stage presentation seriously, it is just all a joke, none of it is real, not meant to be!! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.132.239.48 (talk) 19:37, 1 October 2007 (UTC)

"america is to the south of the uk, not the north"? eh? correct me if im wrong, but i beleive its more to the west..? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 193.108.73.47 (talk) 11:19, 26 March 2008 (UTC)
