Davis Bridge Battlefield was the site of the Battle of Hatchie's Bridge on April 5, 1862.

As part of a long list of areas, the Siege and Battle of Corinth Sites, a 5 acre area here was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1991.

The Davis Bridge Battlefield was separately listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1998.
