David Sirieix

David Sirieix is a french-born art director and marketing strategist living in New-York.

David Sirieix was a French medical student who went to the USA to become art director. He started his own agency in 1996 without mean and no connection, he simply read a dozen of the major books on communication. After one year, Adweek put one of his campaign in its Portfolio. The following campaign for Wilke Rodriguez, a comparative ad campaign generated a great amount of press and created controversy : "Tommy, can you hear me?" for Tommy Hilfiger, "Escape cK" for Calvin Klein and "DKNwhy?" for DKNY (Donna Karan New York).

A few years after, his campaign "Unified Field Theory" for Marithe + Francois Girbaud has generated against controversy and it was indeed banned after a complaint from the Vatican. The advertisement was a remake of "The Last Supper" with super-models.

This year, he developped the campaign for Passionata with David LaChapelle and Isabelli Fontana on the theme "Rocking horse" and created the one with Stephanie Seymour and Peter Lindbergh for Chantelle.

His creative methodology is based on the archetypes of Jung and Freud, that he linked with "Brands" to help them improve their marketing strategies.
