David O'Brien (born 24 January 1984) is a professional footballer who currently plays as a right-sided midfielder for Dundee F.C. in Scotland.

He started his career with Stirling Albion in 2001. Since then he has made 167 First team appearances. In January 2007 he signed a pre-contract agreement with Dundee, moving up north in May 2007.[1] At the end of the 2007-08 season, O'Brien signed a one year contract extension with the Dens Park side.[2]
