David McKeith

David McKeith is a Scottish news journalist, working as an editor for STV North's nightly news programme, North Tonight.

Originally from Perth, McKeith began his journalism career in the mid-80s for several DC Thomson-owned newspapers in Fife before progressing to become a senior reporter for the Sunday Post in Dundee and Glasgow.

McKeith joined Grampian Television (now STV North) in 1992 as a reporter and later became a presenter and news editor. He has also worked on a number of regional current affairs and documentary programmes.

Following a stint as Senior Reporter, McKeith is now a programme editor for North Tonight, alternating with Rachel Innes.
