David Lane (born January 4, 1954) is an attorney in Denver, Colorado with the firm of Killmer, Lane,& Newman LLP. He is a member of the American Civil Liberties Union, and previously defended Ward Churchill. In March 2006, geography teacher Jay Bennish hired him to assist in his reinstatement after being suspended.
