David Kynaston

David Kynaston is an English historian and author with many published books as well as articles appearing in the New Statesman and other magazines and journals.

In 2007 he published Austerity Britain, 1945-1951 to much acclaim. It being the first volume of six books in a series Tales of a New Jerusalem, which will chronicle the history of Great Britain from 1945 to Margaret Thatcher becoming Prime Minister in 1979.
