David J. Cooney

David J. Cooney (born 29 April 1954) is an Irish diplomat.[1] He is Ireland's permanent representative (Ambassador) to the United Nations.

Born in London, on 29 April 1954, he holds a BA in Politics and History from the University of Keele, and has held a number of senior diplomatic posts.
