David Inshaw

David Inshaw (born March 21, 1943) is a British artist and painter, and was a founder member of the Brotherhood of Ruralists.

David Inshaw was born in Wednesfield, Staffordshire and moved to Biggin Hill, Kent in 1950. He studied painting at Beckenham School of Art (1959–63) and then the Royal Academy school of painting (1963–66).

In 1975 he was a founder member of the Brotherhood of Ruralists with Sir Peter Blake, Graham Ovenden, Annie Ovenden, Graham Arnold, Ann Arnold and Jann Haworth. He left the group in 1983.

His works are held in the collection of the Tate.[1]
