David Hornell Junior School is a public elementary school in Etobicoke, Ontario, Canada. It is located in the community of Mimico, very close to Lake Ontario. It was built in 1961 by the Lakeshore District School Board, which was eventually amalgamated into the Etobicoke Board of Education, now part of the Toronto District School Board. The school was named after David Hornell, a World War II flying ace and Victoria Cross recipient. The school displays its heritage in an outdoor plaque and a memorabilia gallery. Students honour his memory annually on Remembrance Day.
