Born 14th July 1953 in London, UK, and resident of Hong Kong, China since 1974. Worked for Hong Kong Government for 9 years before starting businesses in Hong Kong. Founder and major shareholder of the IBC Group based in Hong Kong.

Currently holds position as Executive Director of China Central Government's Development Research Center of the State Council.

Awarded China Government's Peace Prize in 2006.
