David Friedman, (born June 10, 1973, in Los Angeles, California, U.S.), is an American film and TV actor and child star of the 1980s.
In a professional career that spanned little more than 4 years and ended before reaching puberty, Friedman established a body of work equal to that of life-long actors.
Friedman is best known for his role as Jason Carter in the Michael Landon TV series Little House on the Prairie.
He retired from Hollywood at the age of 12, went to college in the San Diego area and eventually became a marketing consultant.
