David Fowler (politician)

David Fowler, born June 30, 1958 at Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia, was a Tennessean politician and a member of the Tennessee Senate for the 11th district, which comprises part of Hamilton County. He is chair of the Senate Environment, Conservation and Tourism Committee and a member of the Senate Fiscal Review Committee, the Senate Fiscal Review Committee, the Senate Judiciary Committee, the Joint Education Oversight Committee, and the Joint Select Oversight Committee on Corrections.
David Fowler was a state senator from the 99th Tennessee General Assembly until the 104th. He graduated from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga with a B.S. in 1980, and with a J.D. from University of Cincinnati College of Law in 1983. He works as an attorney at the law firm of Spears, Moore, Rebman, and Williams, and as an instructor at Bryan College.
