Paul David Fraser Boyd (born April 12, 1972) born and raised in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Boyd was born & raised in Fairview a former community and current neighborhood within the urban core of Halifax Regional Municipality in Nova Scotia, Canada.

Boyd is the grandson of Taxi Cab Operator, and later Collision & Auto body Specialist Richard Henry Boyd (1906-2000), and Careen employee of Sears Canada Helen Elane Startt-Boyd (1913-1997)- Motherside

Boyd is the son of retired Dock Yard Carpender, & Taxi Cab Operator David Wilford Meisner 1945-present) and Educator, Homemaker, and Access Community Cable TV Cammera Operator Bonnie Gail Boyd (1947-1994).

Boyd is a graduate of Dalhousie and received a Bachelor of Science in Computers while continuing to build a career as a professional entertainer and pursuing a Masters in political science.

On June 21, 2004, he married St. Mary's University medical student Eugenia Owe Si (born June 21, 1982 in Accra, Ghana), they have no children. They divorced in November 2006.Euginea has since moved to Red Deer, Alberta to continue her education.

Boyd currently resides in the former city Dartmouth which is within the urban core of Halifax Regional Municipality.But spends much of his time traveling abroad in other Canadian cites such as" St. John, & Fredericton , New Brunswick, Montreal, Quebec, Toronto, Ontario, Saskatoon & Regina, Sask., Edmonton, & Calgary ,Alberta and United States- New England and South Eastern States.

Boyd spends most of winter south of the boarder in the Yucatan Region of Mexico .

Boyd is not currently in a relationship.,But unconfirmed rumors have surfaced that Boyd has been seen publicly with 31 year old Mexican model and cover girl for the SI swimsuit issue Elsa Benitez in February 2008 while Boyd was visiting the Yucatan region of Mexico.

Boyd has a very active social life. Many people call David their From fellow HRM taxi cab operators such as David Withrow,, Edis Flewellen, Mercha Perrsfot, Alex Surganoft, Carlos Kosama, Syed Abul Hassan, Korours Mossa-Hansanki.

Boyd started to become politically active at the age of 10. He worked on Art Flynn's mayoral campaign.
Boyd worked as an inside agent, and poll clerk, DRO for several elections and was a key member of the team for several politicians

Boyd's political career officially began in 1987 at Clayton Park Jr. High where here ran for school president on the platform of putting a swimming pool under the school gym.

Boyd first opportunity to run for office was in the 1999 Municipal By-Election for Upper Sackville-Beaver Bank. He was defeated by David Marrigan. He ran again in the general election in 2000. He was defeated by Brad Johns
In 2003 he ran in Provincial election for Nova Scotia Party in the riding of Halifax-Fairview. He was defeated by incumbent Graham Steel (NDP)
In 2004 Boyd ran for the Conservative Party nomination for the riding of Dartmouth-Cole harbor he was defeated by Mike Macdonald.Boyd ran in the December 15,2007 Woodside-Eastern Passage bi-election and was defeated by Jackie Barkhouse.

David is still politically active and his letter to the editor are published regularly by local and national newspapers.

David is currently preparing for the H.R.M. General Election to be held September,2008
