David Cummings (martial artist)

David Cummings (nicknamed "Thunder") started martial arts at the age of 4 under the instruction of Jim Butin, Tommy Williams and David Cummings Sr. At age 6 David started amateur Boxing under Lloyd Heath and the Heath Boxing Club in Oklahoma. David found his true passion the following year when he had his first Muay Thai match. He studied in Japan, Thailand, France and Holland learning the ins and outs of the sport.[citation needed] At age 19 Cummings won his first World Title in The KICK organization defeating Felipe Garcia in front of his home crowd.[1] At age 20 Cummings started his professional Boxing career under Pat O Grady[citation needed] and before he decided to devote his time to his love of Muay Thai.[citation needed]
