David Crump

David Crump is Newell H. Blakely Professor of Law at the University of Houston Law Center. Crump attended Harvard College and received a law degree from the University of Texas School of Law. He currently teaches classes on property law, civil procedure, and legal practice strategies, among others. David Crump practices law with one of the nation's largest firms, and is also a ventriloquist, a guitarist in a country rock band, a poet, and an outfield in the Senor Baseball League. In addition to numerous books dealing with property law, evidence, and practice strategies, he is the author of two works of legal fiction: Conflict of Interest (novel) and The Holding Company.
