David Cowling

David Cowling (born November 27, 1958 in Doncaster) was a professional footballer who is best remembered for being at Huddersfield Town during the 1970s and 1980s.
He started his career at Mansfield Town, before moving to the Terriers in 1977. He is most remembered by Terriers' fans for scoring 2 memorable goals against Leeds United & Newport County during the 82-83 season, which got Town promoted to Division 2.
He later played on loan at Scunthorpe United and Reading, before signing for the Royals in 1988.
