David Cordero, 24, is an art student at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. He is notable for creating a smiling, life-sized sculpture of Barack Obama with a blue neon halo circling his head in Chicago in April 2007 for his senior show that has gained national and international media attention for its messianic likeness to Jesus.
