David Bereit

David Bereit is an American pro-life activist. Currently, he is the national director of STOPP International, a Christian pro-life organization which opposes the actions of Planned Parenthood.

David is married to Margaret Bereit and has two children, Claire (b. 1998) and Patrick (b. 2000).[1]

David began pro-life work in 1998 when Planned Parenthood announced plans to build an abortion clinic in Bryan, Texas. He helped start the Coalition for Life, a group of over 60 local churches dedicated to ending abortion in their community.

Previously, he worked for 11 years in the pharmaceutical industry. In 2001, he decided to resign from that position and work full time as the Executive Director for the Coalition for Life.[1]
