David Bennett is the former Head of the Policy Directorate in Number 10 Downing Street. He served between June 2005 and July 2007, having previously worked at the management consultancy firm, McKinsey, in a 20-year career. Following the transition from Tony Blair to Gordon Brown in July 2007 he was replaced by Dan Corry, who currently leads the new No.10 Policy Unit team.
