Dave Malkoff is an American television journalist working for KCBS-TV and KCAL-TV, the CBS west coast flagship stations based in Los Angeles, California.

Dave Malkoff was born in Youngstown, Ohio where he got his start in broadcasting by running a low-power radio station in his basement.[1] He also built and ran the television station for Liberty High School before moving onto commercial radio and television. This was all before he started college at The Ohio State University[2]

Dave Malkoff is currently a reporter with KCBS-TV and KCAL-TV in Los Angeles, California. His focus is science, technology & features along with general assignment & breaking news reporting.

Dave is occasionally seen on CBS News, CNN, The Weather Channel and several other CBS television affiliates[3].
