Daulatpur is located at 23.9611° N 89.8417° E . It has 26720 units of house hold and total area 216.24 km².

As of 1991 Bangladesh census^[1], Daulatpur has a population of 138606. Males constitute are 49.62% of the population, and females 50.38%. This Upazila's eighteen up population is 69586. Daulatpur has an average literacy rate of 20% (7+ years), and the national average of 32.4% literate. ^[2]
