Daulatkhan is located at 22.6069° N 90.7358° E . It has 29,233 households. The total area 316.99km².

As of 1991 Bangladesh census^[1], Daulatkhan has a population of 153458. Males constitute are 52.54% of the population, and females 47.46%. This Upazila's eighteen up population is 69112. Daulatkhan has an average literacy rate of 24.5% (7+ years), and the national average of 32.4% literate. ^[2]
