"Another advantage to using regular expressions is that they will not fail the null transform test. That is, using your transformational language of choice, run a sample program through a transformation that doesn't perform any transformations. Many transformational languages will fail this test." This section is not sufficiently descriptive and as a result is fairly unclear. It states how to execute the test, but in no way states what the test is? What are you testing? How do you know if the test succeeded or failed? What should vs. shouldn't happen? Finally, how does this success or failure affect a user w.r.t language selection?
