[edit] IBM

Should support the claim about IBM's introducing this terminology, but cannot find the appropriate reference. Help anyone? Biblbroks 14:12, 12 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Out of date?

This description seems way out of date. Nowadays, the "DTE" is more likely to be an actual computer, using a protocol such as PPP. Maybe that's no longer meets the definition of DTE, but I doubt many people use dialup with just a terminal these days. --StuartBrady (Talk) 16:01, 2 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] DTE = Developing and Transitional Economies

Is there not an ambiguity to the abbreviation DTE = Developing and Transitional Economies used in geography and economics? --René 11:01, 13 May 2007 (UTC)

Perhaps if there were a need of an article for this phrase, there would be a need of a reference. Jim.henderson 15:12, 13 May 2007 (UTC)
